See the world by a happy person’s eyes. The highlights of the week 31032008-06042008. Weekly review with Elena Plyasova.

While some lucky beggars are exploring the boundless expanses of the Orient, enjoying their beauty and the Sun is trying to break into the room through the windows, there are those who are trying to collect all their will and repulse the influence of spring.

They use quite various means: jalousies, that in their desperate battle with the solar expansion make scratchy sounds periodically; air conditioners, that woke up after the long winter sleep, block notes that are full of plans and optimistic perspectives… Because everything that stimulates the working process are brought to the forefront. But what to do about the colleagues’ happy faces that languish from the April warmth? How to make order in the thoughts that have Brownian motion as they have been confused by the treacherous spring wind?

We most likely should relax…. And let’s look at everything by happy man’s eyes, enjoy spring, catch it mood and celebrate everyday as a holiday that it gifts us. Make presents to each other. The presents in nice gift wrapping.

Morning wind is playing with a lacy curtain, a wide open window transom is squeaking. The clock on the wall is counting out minutes: tick-tock, tick-tock… A tablecloth on a table is covered by spots of reflected lights… The aroma of bright wildflowers is mixing with the smell of fresh bread… Under an embroidered serviette there is an unpretentious village breakfast: a jar of fresh milk, a hot crunching heel and roasted buns… The blue-sky, green grass, an upcoming mane of bay stallion that is rushing you far away towards the wind and the Sun…

…Muller had been waiting for Schtirlitz, who could not overcome the long corridor. The intelligence officer’s thoughts were about the forthcoming operation, so he did not notice that he was walking on circles. Finally, the door of Muller’s room opened and smiling Schtirlitz appeared in the doorway.

Every epoch and every generation have their outstanding people, and the ХХ century is not an exception. It is not likely that everybody, whose youth was in the last third of the ХХ century, knows the name of a famous Hollywood actress and the films in which she played. But in the war and post-war time her name was well-known all over the world. She left her bright images that can be swept away by time in the history of the international cinema. She became a legend inter vivos already. It was her who made the formula of happiness: «It comes only with those who is free in spirit».

The spring has finally came… Fresh warm wind blows and brings the desire to revive after a cold winter. The Sun shines and its light urge to actions and aspiration for new, interesting, bright…
The last 5-days course «Decorative gift wrapping» was spring and bright. Its fresh ideas overfilled our diligent students and force them to develop their result more and more. The new collections used for wrapping presents impressed by their unusual and daring brightness.
